Trap a line of runes, and they turn to your side.
Make a room and tell your friend its code, or type the code of their room.

Two sides share the board: the Sun (gold) and the Moon (silver). Every disc has a sun on one face and a moon on the other. The game starts with two of each in the middle, and the Sun moves first.
Place a disc of your side so that it traps one or more lines of your opponent's discs between it and another of your discs: across, up and down, or on the slant. Every disc in those lines flips over to your side. A move must flip at least one disc. The glowing rings show where you can play.
If you can't make a move, you pass and your opponent goes again. When neither side can move, the game is over, and whoever has more discs on the board wins.
Corners can never be flipped, so they're the best squares on the board. The squares right next to a corner are risky: they can hand your opponent the corner. Edges are good too. Flipping lots of discs early isn't always wise: having more moves to choose from matters more.
The Apprentice is still learning. The Sorcerer looks a move ahead. The Archmage thinks a long way ahead and is very hard to beat. Against the Apprentice and the Sorcerer, the Hint button shows a good move. There are no hints against the Archmage.
Press Play a friend online, make a room and tell your friend its four-letter code. When they've joined, the one who made the room picks the board and the move timer and presses Start. A coin toss decides who is the Sun. After a game, you both press Play again for another, with the sides swapped. If you lose the connection, Back to the room on the title screen puts you back in your seat.
Turn the move timer on to have 10, 20 or 30 seconds for each of your moves. If time runs out, a move is made for you at random.
Pick where you play under Table on the title screen: the wizard's table with its rune discs, a café table with copper and silver coins, or the ice palace with amber and ice discs. The Sun is always the gold, amber or copper side, and the Moon the silver or ice side. Online, each player sees their own table.
Drag to turn the table. Scroll or pinch to zoom. Right-drag, shift-drag or two fingers to slide. ⌖ brings back the whole board.
